The Keystone Basket

Muted, earthy tones and clean geometry give the basket its timeless appeal. In true Kardigan fashion, distinctive detailing elevates this versatile accessory into a refined expression of form and function.

The Keystone basket comes to life through a collaboration with luxury brand; Tackussanu Senegal. The baskets origins begin in Senegal, Africa, where skilled artisans spend the course of 15 days weaving the baskets by hand using a traditional weaving process. The weavers incorporate a mix of harvested Hierochloe odorata (sweet grass), and salvage recycled particles resulting in a one-of-a-kind beautiful woven basket, that is durable, and will last for many years.
